Jo Oxford MBACP - Mental Health Counsellor, Life Coach
Hallo there and thank you for taking time to look at my profile. I can explain a little about my experience to date, I have worked in the NHS for 17 years in various mental health settings, I have been able to work alongside those experiencing personal challenges and have found it a real privilege to be part of clients ability to share and be part of their recovery.
My working model is the Integral which means that I have many different tools such as person-centered and CBT to use during a session and so provide a custom fit form of therapy. As well as exploring the important issues from your past I am able to provide a solution focused therapy to look at ways to look towards the future and begin to set personal goals that feel achievable for you.
I am offering a safe and therapeutic relationship in which to explore issues and concerns that you may have. If you feel that we could work together please do feel free to either send me an email or a message on my work number and we can arrange a time to have an initial free 10 minute chat on the phone just to check that you feel comfortable with talking to me.
I do look forward to working alongside you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
