About me

Please call me for a free, non obligatory chat. I am covered by most Private Health companies and I am part of the EAP Professionals Network.

Hi and welcome to my profile. I am a qualified and Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the BACP, Integrative approach. I am also an experienced and professional Coach and sometimes find the combination (with agreement) of a therapeutic approach coupled with a coaching approach extremely successful in achieving long term results.

Helping people achieve change quickly, is my passion. Because every individual is unique, I have trained in a range of therapeutic approaches so I can tailor my approach to suit you as my client. I specialise in addictions, relationship difficulties, depression and self esteem/confidence issues and work in a warm, non-judgemental and welcoming environment. I work with individuals and couples.

I am Certified with the BPS Level A and B Psychometrics having trained at the University of Cambridge and a Coach and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, personally licensed by Richard Bandler, creator of the field. I work in an individual way with all my clients focusing on life balance issues encompassing career, personal and lifestyle development for individuals, groups and Corporate Organisations.

Personal Information

I am married for the second time round and live in Cambridgeshire with my two children. I relax by swimming each morning and spending time with my family and friends.

I work from my practices in Liverpool Street, London and Cambridgeshire as well as Organisations' offices and off-site events.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
