Jo Cass PGDip, MBACP
You've shown courage in taking the first step to find a counsellor; in return I offer you a free introductory session to meet each other and discuss how I can help you.
I have experience of helping people struggling after losing a loved one, suffering from anxiety/depression, coping with a life limiting illness, anger issues and problems with relationships. I also have an interest in Autism and I am LGBTQ aware.
I can be flexible and arrange appointments in the daytime, evening or at weekends.
I work in a person-centred way, giving you time and space so you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a comfortable and confidential place. I see adults on a one-to-one basis who can choose to have short, medium or long term therapy. The frequency of your sessions is also up to you, some clients come once a week, some once a month. My therapy room is easily accessible with free parking. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I look forward to meeting you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Post-graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy (PGDip). I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (MBACP) and also have nearly twenty years experience of building relationships in education, social and health care settings. I have counselled people with a variety of issues and will support you with empathy and respect to help you to improve your emotional well-being.
