About me

Hello and welcome to my profile page.

I am an experienced and dedicated counsellor, fully qualified, registered and accreditated through the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a qualified listener, offering a confidential, safe and non- judgemental space for those seeking help. Although my counselling training was person-centred I have experience in using a variety of techniques and practices from a range of approaches. I recognise the relationship between client and counsellor to be the cornerstone for effective therapeutic work.

Presently, I am a counsellor working in a community based charity, supporting individuals with:

  • depression
  • addictions
  • anxiety and stress
  • abuse and eating disorders.

I also have extensive experience working in a hospice setting, offering counselling support for those with life limiting illnesses and the bereaved.

I offer a free, no obligation initial assessment/consultation, this is an essential part of the process, an opportunity for you to ask questions, determine if you would like to work with me and what you would like to achieve from counselling therapy. There are many different approaches to therapy, it is important that you work at your own pace, whatever feels right for you.

I work with adults, 18+
