I am a conscientious and caring counsellor, registered with the BACP with a passion for helping adults, young people and children to understand their emotions and help clients to find the right way forward for themselves. At Dragonflies Counselling I can help you make your own decisions in order to bring about positive change in your life. You decide what to focus on and, whatever the issue is, as a counsellor, I won't be shocked and will not judge you.
I have a proven ability to empathise with individuals whilst retaining an objective and realistic approach to their treatment and therapy. I feel very comfortable working and communicating with people from all backgrounds and have experience of many different issues. I have always been aware of how I warm to the more challenging teenager, and feel that I can look beyond their behaviour to understand their difficulties and channel their energies into fulfilling their potential as an individual. I also have a passion for working with bereaved families and have experience of working with children and parents who have experienced loss in a way where they can talk freely to someone independently.
I allow every client the opportunity to push the pause button, take stock of their lives, understand more about themselves and explore their options.
