About me

Hello,

Sometimes life feels so difficult and you can’t see a way forward…and other times it just doesn’t feel as good as it could be, and you don’t know how to change it.

Whether you are feeling desperately in need of some help or just a gentle hand to help you along the way, I am here for you.

Together we will explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards finding a bright spark to shine a light into the future.

I work, primarily, in a person-centred way, which allows the client to be in control of the process, helped and guided by me along the way.

I do, however offer a variety of techniques and tailor the sessions to suit your individual needs.

I work with adult clients and have experience in a wide range of situations.

Some key areas include working with people coping with gender issues in all their various forms.

Similarly, I work with those affected by the menopause, not just the individuals immediately experiencing the effects of this, but the wider family and friends who can be impacted.

Whatever your circumstances, I am here to help you and look forward to working with you on your journey.

Our work together will be confidential and I will always treat you with warmth and respect. I am there by your side.

I really understand just how difficult it can be to take the first step, but I will endeavour to make our first meeting as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

Please feel free to contact me by email, phone or text. If you leave a voicemail i will reply as soon as possible.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
