About me

Zoom & face-to-face counselling in the heart of Caerleon Village: adults & children

I offer a space where you can feel listened to, understood and accepted in a non-judgemental environment.

My approach is relational and existential. That simply means that the therapy is focused on achieving the change you seek and regaining a sense of meaning and purpose in your life.

I am BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and also fully qualified to work with Children and Young People.

I am able to work with a variety of presentations including childhood shame & trauma based histories. Frequently clients work through depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties,  loss & bereavement, family issues, self-esteem & self-image and low self-confidence.

As a member of the BACP I abide by the ethical framework as set out by the BACP Good Practice for counselling and psychotherapy.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Children & Young People

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
