About me

I'm Jessica Hart counsellor at Night Sky Counselling.

I am a humanistic counsellor and I offer person centered therapy. I have experience working in NHS settings. I work with adults and young people aged 11 years+. I hold membership with the BACP and I follow the ethical framework for counselling practice. I invite you to contact me to find out if I am the right fit for you, your needs and your life style.

The humanistic counselling approach believes that every one is unique, able to make their own decisions, are able to grow, change and realise their own potential. I aim to create a safe, non judgmental space where you can feel safe to share your story.

I understand that life can bring us highs and lows, with many twists and turns sometimes we feel stuck. I offer evening telephone, zoom video call sessions and email counselling. I want to make counselling accessible so you can access sessions wherever you are.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
