This includes work with the full spectrum of psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety and panic, trauma and PTSD, relationship problems, bereavement and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, self-esteem and identity issues.
I also offer more specialised assessments, including those of potential Autism Spectrum Disorders and cognitive/intellectual skills.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist. This means that I am subject to high standards of proficiency, conduct, performance and ethics and I am committed to ongoing professional development and fulfilling the requirements of my professional body, the British Psychological Society. I am also a member of the Association of Child Psychologists in Private Practice.
I have a number of years experience working with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, psychological and developmental difficulties of young people and I am passionate about this work. Alongside my independent practice, I work as a Child & Family Psychologist with a small-scale family-focussed independent company and prior to this, I held a position leading the Psychology Service for children and adolescents at Woodbourne Priory Hospital in Edgbaston.
