About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience providing mental health care within the NHS and private practice.
I believe therapy can be beneficial for anyone, regardless of whether they have a diagnosable mental health condition. Therapeutic conversations can provide valuable tools to help clarify life goals, explore meaning and purpose, and develop strategies to navigate everyday challenges.
While I work broadly, I have particular expertise in supporting adults who face common mental health difficulties, and with individuals undergoing life transitions—whether related to physical health issues, grief, relationship changes, or career shifts.
I have advanced training in working with individuals diagnosed with a ‘personality disorder’. These clients often face challenges related to intense emotions, stormy interpersonal relationships, and using substances to cope. In these instances, my therapeutic approach involves understanding early relational experiences and their impact on relationships in adulthood, and fostering alternative, healthier ways to manage big feelings.
My Approach
The relationship between a client and their therapist plays a big role in how successful therapy can be. I work hard to create a space that feels warm and trustworthy, where you can feel safe to share and explore your emotions. I also make sure the therapies I use follow nationally recommended guidelines in the UK.
With doctoral-level training from the University of Oxford, I offer evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT). I see therapy as a partnership, where we work together to find tools and strategies that help you live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
A big part of my approach is helping you see your emotions not as something to control, but as a source of insight and understanding. I want to support you in finding the courage to live alongside your feelings, to build resilience, and foster a deeper connection with yourself in the process.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
