Jennifer Weir MBACP (Accred). BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Welcome to my profile. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor working in Beeston, Nottingham, specialising in working with adults and young people who are experiencing difficulties in their life. I can offer you space and time to explore your issues in a safe, secure and confidential environment.
My approach to counselling is humanistic and integrative and I will listen to you without judgment. I believe that the experience of therapy can help you to understand your situation and can lead to positive change.
Counselling may be long or short term depending on your wishes – indeed the whole experience will be determined by your individual needs.
Everyone faces difficulties in their life at some point. Most of the time we manage to deal with these with the help of our friends and family. But sometimes we feel overwhelmed by the impact of these problems and reach a stage where we can no longer function properly in our daily lives. Counselling can really help at this point. It can help us to make sense of what is happening and support us through a difficult time. It takes a great deal of courage to ask for help and I hope I can make the experience of counselling really positive for you.
Please email me or leave a message on my phone for full details and to begin to get to know me. I will return your call as soon as I can.
