I am a chartered counselling psychologist with specialist experience in the area of trauma & PTSD. I am trained in EMDR, trauma-focussed CBT, and prolonged exposure. I work with all anxiety-based difficulties and OCD is a special interest area. I can help with bereavement, stress, depression and a wide range of mental health difficulties. I am currently offering virtual therapy appointments for assessment, intervention and clinical supervision. I have a person-centred approach to building a therapeutic relationship and I have completed extensive training in CBT and ACT.
I will work with you to help you understand yourself better, to figure out what is getting in your way, and to identify the strengths and resources you can use to move forward again. Our mental health needs tending throughout our lives, much like our physical health, and it is normal to experience suffering. Sometimes we become stuck in our suffering and can’t find a way out. My aim for therapy is to help you find your way again.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
Areas of counselling I deal with

£90 per session.
EMDR sessions are longer and more intensive and therefore cost more.
