About me

Welcome to my profile. I hope that you find all the information you are looking for, on my page. If you do have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

You may be at a stage in your life where you are feeling pain/loss or distress and whatever the reason that has brought you here today, sometimes talking to a counsellor like myself can help. I offer a confidential and professional service with people of all ages.

I currently work in private practice offering different models of therapy to individuals and couples experiencing psychological difficulties. I also work inconjunction with EAP business and GamCare a national charity to help Problem Gamblers and affected others. Problem Gambling can bring many problems to a person, many people don't know why or how to control there Gambling Problems, they can be complex.

You may be more likely to reach your goals with support from a counsellor like me. We can explore and work on any problems together in a confidential session. I also worked for many years as a Carer and believe that this gives me a deep insight into the challenges this role can bring to people.

I offer clients a safe, confidential place and time to explore any feelings they may wish to discuss. I do this in a person-centred-manner- meaning that I am lead by what the client wants and needs.

I have different counselling skills and I alter my style to suit needs; I can offer a creative environment which includes toys/play, paint/art.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
