About me

I'm a pluralistic/Integrative Psychotherapist and Trainee Counselling Psychologist. I have integrative and pluralistic training that covers a range of psychological-based therapies.

My core modality is Relational Psychodynamic/Person-centred.

What that means is that I work in a way that suits you the client, taking into consideration your life, trauma, and experiences, and will help you to explore and interpret those experiences and how those experiences continue to affect you.

I'm here to support you through life's challenges, offering a safe space to navigate issues like relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, trauma and more.

I focus on you, your experiences, and your journey toward better mental health. Together, we'll work through these hurdles and I'll be here every step of the way. It takes courage to seek help, and I'm glad you're considering it. Let's start this journey together toward a brighter, happier you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a trainee Counselling Psychologist currently working in a specialist trauma service within the NHS. I offer both face-to-face and online therapy, with experience supporting clients through a range of complex and trauma-related difficulties.

I’m completing my DPsych in Counselling Psychology at the University of South Wales, with core training in Person-Centred Therapy and CBT. My approach is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to each individual.

I hold a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Counselling with Psychology and a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, covering Person-Centred, CBT, and Psychodynamic models.

Additional training includes:

  • ASIST Suicide First Aid
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Act-ivate Your Life Facilitator (ACT-based)
  • Online/Telephone Therapy Delivery

I’m passionate about trauma-informed care and supporting people in building resilience, connection and self-understanding.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
