About me

I work with adults, young people, adolescents and children. I offer face to face therapy as well as online. I believe that you as the client have the answers to your difficulties and that I as your therapist will provide a safe space to discuss your thoughts, feelings and emotions with the aim of gaining insight and understanding, so that you can live a happier and more authentic life. Sometimes people come to therapy with specific difficulties like anxiety, depression, low self esteem and others come with a more generalised feeling of discontent. I am here to listen and be alongside you as you explore your internal world I work relationally and offer confidential and non-judgemental counselling. Sessions are normally on a weekly basis, we can work open ended or decide at the start of therapy how many sessions we will have.

Covid 19 has created greater uncertainty and more health anxiety globally. If you would like to discuss how it has impacted you, do get in touch to discuss your concerns. You do not have to struggle alone.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
