MSc (merit) - Masters in Addiction Psychology and Counselling. Addiction Psychologist and Psychotherapist. MFDAP, NCAC Accredited with 12 years experience.

Specialising in Alcohol & Drug abuse / addiction including New Psychoactive Substances (NPS); Chemsex & Sex addiction; Internet, Social Media & Gambling addiction; LGBTQI; Depression, Anxiety and relationship problems or issues.

I will provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Identify the cause of your particular problems.
  • Explore your thoughts and feelings as well as your harmful patterns of behaviour.
  • Help you decide on the best course of action to enable you to make better choices for well-being and recovery.

As an integrative counsellor I draw on various theoretical approaches and schools such as Person-Centred, Twelve-Step, CBT, M.I. and Psychodynamic tailoring the therapy to suit the individual client’s needs in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental place.

I hold a MSc (Master of Science) in Addiction Psychology and Counselling awarded by London Southbank University and am a member of the Federation of Drug & Alcohol Professionals (FDAP). I have many years of experience working with clients on a wide range of issues who come from a diversity of different backgrounds including from sexual and ethnic minority groups.

My past experience includes working for Transport for London / London Underground as a Drug & Alcohol Assessment and Treatment Services Counsellor.

As therapy Treatment Programme Manager for a leading UK private hospital group, I currently provide expertise and therapeutic solutions to clients who are experiencing problematic behaviour - primarily with drugs, alcohol, social media, gambling and sex.

FDAP

Fees

£80-£120 per 50 minute session but am prepared to negotiate depending on your financial circumstances.  I will negotiate a discounted fee (10%) for bookings of 6 sessions or more up front. This is recommended as our work together will usually take at least 6 sessions and often more depending on your circumstances and issues. We will do an assessment together at your first session.
