Jean Pennant, MBACP (Accred), COSRT (Accred)
Many couple relationships experience times of strain and difficulty and having a space to understand and seek to resolve underlying issues with a non-judgemental and neutral therapist can be very valuable. I offer couple and relationship counselling and psychosexual therapy. You can come as a couple or on your own and we will think together about the difficulties you are experiencing and if regular sessions with me are likely to be helpful. Regular sessions would generally be on a weekly basis for as long as is appropriate for you and your particular situation. Short term or non-regular sessions may be possible if your circumstances require this.
I also offer supervision.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists
COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.
All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Many other issues can impact on relationships so I would seek to explore these as part of the overall understanding of your situation.
I generally charge £70 for an initial consultation and £70 per session for regular sessions with couples and £50 for individuals. Sessions are 60 minutes.
Some sessions at a lower rate may be available.
My consulting room is on the ground floor but unfortunately there is no step-free access or ground floor loo. Street parking is generally available but payable between 10am and 12 noon; the 484 bus stops nearby. I can easily be reached from Lewisham, St Johns and Ladywell stations.
