I am a qualified accredited Counsellor and supervisor with a broad range of experience. I provide one to one counselling and supervision based in the area of Sherwood.

I offer a confidential, safe therapeutic environment to enable you to talk about your issues and difficulties. These might include talking about life events, (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour.
Some of your issues and difficulties might include bereavement and loss, anxiety and stress, dealing with anger, personal relationships, work related relationship, past and present abuse including sexual, emotional and physical. In fact I will endeavor to work with you regarding any issues which might be having an impact on your day to day living, self-esteem, self-worth and confidence.
I will seek to help you with any distressing thoughts or feelings, to encourage you to use the space and time to freely express your personal issues, to help you to develop practical coping strategies.

Training, qualifications & experience
I initially attained my first professional counselling qualification at the Nottingham Counselling Service, before going on to become a fully qualified Person-Centred/Humanistic Counsellor my qualifications include:-
Certificate of Higher Education in Professional Counselling practice - Awarded by the University of Birmingham and attained at Nottingham Counselling Service.
Diploma in Humanistic Counselling Practice - The University of Nottingham.
BA (Hons) First Class In Humanistic Counselling Practice - The University of Nottingham.
Certificate in Supervision Practice endorsed by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

As well as providing employee and occupational counselling including IAPT clients (Improving access to Psychological Therapies) referred by the NHS.
I also provide Counselling on a private basis for My Sight in Radford formerly The Nottingham Royal Society
through WSM wellbeing Solutions including counselling through a variety of Employment Assistant Programmes (EAP).
Counselling - £30 per hour
Supervision - £40 per hour

I provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment where you can talk to me and I will listen carefully to any concerns or problems you may have which are causing you pain, distress or confusion, working together developing better ways of thinking, feeling and coping with your situation.
