How can I help?
Many people become anxious or stressed due to family or work problems. You are not alone. Sometimes just talking about your issues can help put things into perspective. I'm here to offer you a safe, friendly, confidential approach to counselling.
I have over 15 years counselling experience. I will sensitively listen to what you need to say and provide you with support to help you gain insight into, and accept, whatever you are feeling. If necessary I will work with you to explore new tools and ways to help you find your way in life, so you can experience greater resilience to cope and feel fulfilled.
If you feel there is no progression in your work or home life, and it is not as exciting as it once was. If you are facing tough times after a specific event or if you have low self esteem, I can offer you holistic counselling to help guide you in the right direction. I can help you to tap into your inner resources, to be inspired to create a new positive future.

What is counselling?
Counselling provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to share your experiences and how you are feeling so that you can be helped to deal with difficult or challenging times.
I can help with a range of issues, including:

- Relationship difficulties
- Loss of meaning of life
- Bereavement or loss
- Low self esteem

My training is varied so that my style of counselling is eclectic. This means that I am able to be flexible in my approach so I can best meet your individual needs.
I offer individual and couples counselling. I provide both short term and longer term counselling. I have a private room which is situated near Newbury Park underground station and Seven Kings overground station.

Foundation and Intermediate Certificate in Counselling Skills.
Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling. (BACP accredited)
Diploma in Hypnoanalysis and Clinical Hypnosis
Certificate in Coaching and Stress management.

Conflict resolution, Anger Management, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychological First Aid, NLP, An introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sandtray Play, Non Violent Communication, Brain Working Recursive Therapy and An introduction to EMDR.

Individuals: Initial Assessment £35 for 45 minutes
Subsequent Appointments: £46 for 50 minutes
Cancellation fees are payable in full unless prior 48 hours notice is given.
Jean has qualifications as a Counsellor, Coach, Trainer, and Consultant. Jean has over 15 years experience in the personal development field and is passionate about enabling people to become more aware of what is holding them back from tapping into their full potential and feeling fulfilled in life. All her work is about empowering others to be the best they can be. She firmly believes that when times get tough, there are ways through. Sometimes a little push in the right direction can make a big difference.
