About me

I believe that for therapy to be effective, you must be able to connect with your therapist. I offer an initial free half hour consultation to explore how we can work together.

Anxiety and Depression are becoming everyday words due to our fast and complicated lifestyles. There are times when we become less able to cope with everyday life.  Problems mount up, the to-do list gets bigger, more demands are made of us and life seems to be more stressful.  Anxiety can be work or relationship related or about the way we look, or how others see us. Some people find it difficult to be in certain social situations. There are many reasons we can feel low or anxious.

I am a strong believer that we all have the ability to develop our coping skills so that we do not let things affect us negatively. We each of us have it within ourselves to change how we allow things to affect us. Sometimes we need help to make this happen.

I have supported both adults and young people on issues relating to anxiety, depression, stress, family, childhood issues, domestic violence, relationship issues, addiction (including alcohol and gambling), panic attacks, work-related stress, anger management, panic disorders, self-esteem and fear of failure, as well as body image and self-image.
