Jayne Simpson Counselling And Wellbeing
Throughout our lives, we will all encounter challenges, with relationships, family, work, education, physical and mental health, sexuality, birth, death, ageing…and much more.
If you are feeling ‘off-balance’, or don’t feel ‘yourself’ and can’t work out why this can become overwhelming and you feel unsure who to talk to. As humans we tend to get into unhelpful thinking habits and think negatively about ourselves and situations, finding it hard to move forward, be happy and enjoy life.
I am a warm, friendly person with an intuitive nature, and can offer you a safe, confidential space to open up, connect with and learn from yourself without feeling judged. Restoring calm and balance so you can move forward through life. My formal training in counselling is underpinned by experience of working within the National Health Service and Charitable Organisations for many years, which together with motherhood makes it easy for me to relate to clients and appreciate their unique life experiences.
Training, qualifications & experience
Counselling is really normal and completely transformational all at the same time. Giving yourself the time to simply sit down and talk freely, draw, breath, visualise and explore what is troubling you, what is working for you and what isn’t, who you are and what you want out of your life.
I work as an Integrative Counsellor, combining theories and methods, having a flexible 'toolbox' to work with each unique person. In sessions I can assist you in learning useful coping and self-soothing techniques to help you feel better in the present and take forward into your future, empowering you to become your own healer.
I offer Walk and Talk Counselling that can be arranged after an initial indoor session.
