I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor with many years of experience working in NHS organisations and private practice.
I have over 10 years of experience working with a broad range of client presentations including; anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, stress and relationship issues. I have a keen interest in bereavement, loss and trauma and have worked in specialist support services in the NHS for those effected by Cancer.
I also offer EMDR (Eye movement desensitation and reprocessing) an evidenced based therapy for Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, which works by helping to heal traumatic or distressing memories.
I am a registered and accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work within the guidelines and ethical framework.
I am also a qualified Nurse (RGN) and have worked within various specialities within the NHS that has provided a foundation for my practice that I am able to draw upon when required.
