Jayne Fowler BA (Hons) Registered Member BACP, Counsellor and Supervisor.
Now that some people are beginning to return to their busy lives, they appreciate that counselling online saves travelling time and money. Video call counselling in the comfort of your own home, can be less formal and more comfortable. Please contact me for more information about how this works. I have reduced the cost of video call counselling to £30 per session.
For clients who are unable to find privacy at home I can offer Therapy in Nature. This remains the same cost of £40 per session , depending where it is. Please contact me for more details.
I offer counselling services to children, young people, adults and couples. I am a qualified, experienced and fully insured person centred counsellor, a creative therapy practitioner, a Clinical Supervisor and a registered member of BACP. I have a current DBS and NCC Safeguarding training.
My role is to offer you a relationship that is impartial thus enabling me to facilitate the process that counselling begins. The therapeutic relationship will offer you a safe, non judgemental space to bring your issues.
I will not advise you as being given the opportunity to explore your issues, thoughts and feelings openly; you are the best person to decide what you need to do:- you are the expert on yourself.
The places I work are:-
Great Yarmouth from Christchurch,
High Street Stalham
and from my home in Eccles on Sea where I have a private consulting room.
The Cobholm room at Christchurch and my therapy room at home are fully accessible.
On the first visit we will discuss what your hopes and expectations are of counselling and how I can meet your needs.
I work with all ages and a broad spectrum of issues including:- children and young people, couples, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, bereavement, mental health issues, abuse, etc
It is my role to offer a safe space for both to be heard and be listened to. It is important that differences need to be acknowledged as everyone comes with their own values and beliefs. Ways of being may be explored so that destructive patterns of relating can be recognised and addressed. Couple counselling can help with conflict and communication can be improved.
I offer the opportunity for supervisees to work through client issues or personal development issues in a person centred way.
I can offer a placement to student counsellors who are working to gain their one hundred hours. Please contact me if you are interested.
Please contact me by phone, text or email. If you are calling on a withheld or private number leave your name and number on my voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
