Jason Hanson MA Psychoanalytic Studies, Dip Relationship Therapy, MNCS Accred
So many of us experience life challenges every day, but when these become too much to handle we can often feel confused as to where to turn. It's not always easy to talk to friends or relatives because sometimes they are too close to us and the situation. At times like these it can be beneficial to talk a professional, somebody who is impartial, non judgmental and can help you to gain a little perspective on the things in your life which may be causing you emotional unrest.
Choosing the right therapist
Choosing the right therapist is an extremely important part of the therapeutic process. After all you are trusting somebody with your most intimate feelings and fears, so it has to be somebody you feel comfortable disclosing to. You can read a few of my testimonials here...
Alternatively some of my clients have been kind enough to share their experiences on Google. You can find those here...
My background is analytical which means I am committed to helping you to explore and address the root cause of the things causing you upset. We will work together every step of the way until you feel comfortable you have the right tools to cope moving forward.
What I offer
It's not always about the situation we find ourselves in, it's more about how readily we can locate and develop our own coping tools. Together we will look to make sense of your current situation and the range of emotions you may be experiencing as a consequence. We will work together to help you locate your owning coping strategies.
I offer a relaxed and respectful environment where you can feel safe to explore any concerns, worries and hopes for the future. I put the client at the centre of all therapy and will tailor the sessions to meet the needs of you the client. The frequency and direction of each therapy session will be decided by you to ensure you get exactly what you want and need out of therapy.
I offer a flexible approach to my counselling hours to meet the needs of my clients and accommodate any other commitments you may have. I therefore offer evening appointments most weekdays up until 10pm and weekend appointments up to 8pm.
