I am a registered Counselling Psychologist accredited by the British Psychological Association and the Health & Care Professions Council. I have a wide range of experience in mental health in both the NHS and private healthcare. I have experience helping people with a variety of issues such as:
- Feelings of depression & anxiety; low self-esteem
- Work related stress
- Relationship breakdowns
- Emotion dysregulation (suffering with 'ups' and 'downs')
- Eating disorders
Please feel free to contact me for an initial 5-10 minute phone consultation, where we can decide if you would like to set up an assessment session. An assessment session is just a first meeting, where I can get to know you and understand your difficulties. Following that meeting, you can decide if you would like to continue with regular therapy sessions. Whether you have previous experience of therapy or this is your first contact, I like to facilitate a warm and empathetic session, with the opportunity for you to ask any questions. If you are at all unsure please feel free to contact me with your initial questions and to possibly set up a time to talk.
At present I am offering online sessions only, which can be beneficial for those preferring to undertake therapy from the comfort of home.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
