Hello - I'm Jasmin and I'm passionate about helping people live better, more fulfilling lives.
I'm a qualified counsellor and have been counselling for the last 7 years.
I believe that therapy can improve how we live our lives and counselling is an opportunity to explore your life and your issues in a confidential and non-judgmental space. You might have had a niggling thought about yourself, something that has happened or something that is going on for you right now that is not going away and that interferes with your life. You might feel low, anxious or stuck and not know why or you might be able to identify what is going on for you. Counselling gives you the opportunity to find your answers and develop coping skills that will serve you throughout your life or it might be about coming to terms with something and accept what you cannot change. Sometimes it is about changing your approach to yourself, others and/or life. I believe counselling can be helpful for the small or the big issues/questions and can make a lasting difference in peoples' lives.
Usually counselling gives clients choices as it can open up their awareness as well as introduce more helpful ways of thinking and equip them with coping strategies for whatever they are struggling with.
Therapy is something that can help us to move from a place of not coping, right through to surviving and thriving.
I am trained as an integrative therapist as I believe in most cases no single approach suits every person and every issue. Integrative counselling is a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
