I am a qualified, experienced counsellor. I have trained as a Person-Centred Therapist. I have experience working with, bereavement, miscarriage, divorce, eating disorders and low self-esteem. My aim is to help my clients find positive-growth and build a better life.
What is person-centred counselling?
My type of therapy is called Person-Centred Counselling, which I feel can help clients connect with their feelings and experiences. I truly believe in this type of therapy because it can heal from within, giving a chance to rebuild our confidence, self-esteem, self-worth and lasting relationships. Helping with grief and bereavement. My type of therapy is non-judgemental, confidential and empathic, my life experiences help me connect with my clients with the issues they have.
How do I work?
I work alongside clients, confidentiality, a non-judgemental approach within every session is paramount, working at the client’s pace. Working together we can discuss how many sessions are needed, by doing this client can be aware of their progress. I can travel to clients if preferred or clients can visit me at my practice, which is a calm environment in which to converse. Being a registered member of the BACP shows my competence while ensuring my ethical approach to practice. My contact number is 07599832869.
Having a wide range of life experience helps me to interact and be empathic, with different issues clients bring to our sessions. My type of counselling is non-judgmental allowing for a therapeutic relationship. I Work alongside each individual while supporting their positive-growth, which in turn can have a great influence on self-worth, to help with greater knowledge, and go forward, confident within themselves. Over the past few years, I have worked with the NHS, I have trained in trauma and sexual abuse.
I have experience working with relationships issues, bereavement, a loss this can be any type of loss work related self of self, miscarriage, divorce, eating disorders and low self-esteem.
I have also volunteered at many different organisations including Women's Aid Blackpool offering to counsel a wide diverse range of clients, Clayton Brook Community Services counselling clients. I have experience of many clients issues gaining in-depth knowledge from life experiences. It is my aim to listen and work with every client as an individual as I believe everyone is unique so our experiences are never the same.

£40 one-hour session. Couples counselling £60per hour session. I can travel to clients at a minimal extra cost depending on travel distance. I offer discounts for students, the elderly, and those in receipt of benefits.
I offer telephone counselling £30 for a 45-minute session.
My sessions are not time-limited, this enables my clients to reach their own understanding without having the pressure of session restrictions. My clients can find out what is going on with within and feel confident in their growth. While offering a safe and confidential environment, being non-judgemental and offering empathic understanding, to each client with their individual needs. Self-worth and self-esteem are high priorities for me during therapy because if we have these skills positive growth can help us heal.
