Janey Lansdell. BA.Hons. BACP Registered
Hello, welcome to my profile.
My name is Janey, I am a person centred BACP registered counsellor.
it is my passionate belief that given the right conditions a person can find a way of coming to terms with things in their life experiences which have perhaps created barriers to self knowledge and to self acceptance. I believe my clients have found the person centred process and way of working both useful and rewarding.
It will be my commitment as your therapist to provide suitable conditions for change, growth and movement toward self acceptance, consistently and in a warm, safe, non-judgmental space.
I have experience of working with Depression, PTSD, DID/Dissociation, Anxiety and Emotional disquiet. Survivors of sexual abuse.
My experience includes working with people who identify as transgender, gender queer and none binary.
My areas of working experience include:
I am aware that there are different Relationship styles such as POLY.
Please see below for the full list. I normally would not 'use' labels but this gives an idea of the extent of the different aspects of counselling/personality I have explored with clients.

I worked in the field of one to one support for many years as a volunteer & then finally, in 2009, I took the chance, going to university in order to fulfill a long term wish to work as a professional counsellor/psychotherapist. I now work one day a week for a charitable organisation in Coventry , this work gives me great pleasure and offers me lots of opportunities to work with many different kinds of people with complicated and varied issues.
I hope that you will find me helpful and easy to work with should you choose to meet with me. I look forward to meeting you.
some of my areas of experience are listed below.
