About me
As a person-centred counsellor I offer a compassionate and holistic approach, providing a safe, non-directive and empathetic space for all clients to explore their emotions, challenges, and self-perception.
Struggles with mental health can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lethargy, overwhelm, relationship problems, loneliness, self harm, unhealthy habits related to food or substances or perhaps just a feeling that something isn't quite right.
I listen without judgment to support you in understanding and managing these feelings. Together, we’ll work to identify the thoughts and beliefs contributing to your mental health difficulties.
My approach is personalised and person-centred, to help you develop healthier coping mechanisms and foster a more positive self-view.
Through our sessions, you’ll gain tools to build resilience, self-compassion, and emotional strength. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with body dissatisfaction, or finding it hard to cope with stress, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward mental and emotional well-being.
My goal is to help you cultivate self-acceptance, confidence, and a healthier relationship with both your mind and body. By working together, we can create a path toward a healthier mind, body, and sense of self, helping you reclaim your confidence and joy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have experience of working in the NHS as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering adult and CAMHS eating disorder outpatient services and have worked as a school counsellor. Within these roles, I have witnessed first hand the rising number of young people struggling with their mental health and am committed to creating a supportive environment to navigate the pressures of growing up and dealing with school, relationships, family, and developing a sense of personal identity.
I offer support with chronic health conditions and nutritional counselling (Side note if you think you have an Eating Disorder please visit your GP first as this is a complex illness which usually requires multi-disciplinary care).
As well as working in private practice, I am a volunteer counsellor for The WAVES Counselling Project supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
