I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor. I trained at Goldsmiths, University of London followed by an additional BACP Accredited training in Psychodynamic Counselling, Westminster Pastoral Foundation.
As a fully qualified BACP registered and accredited professional therapist I have significant clinical experience working with adults, children and young people of different age, cultures and backgrounds.
I work with adults at a counselling centre in Tunbridge Wells, and with children, young people and parents at a second Tunbridge Wells organisation for families. In addition to counselling I am also a tutor at a training centre for psychodynamic counsellors.
I am comfortable and experienced working with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, family break up, loss, low self-confidence. I am also trained to work with children and young people who require or would benefit from emotional and therapeutic support in the school environment.
I have experience of building positive, active and effective relationships with school colleagues. I approach my work with perseverance, integrity, compassion and creativity using my skills to support children and adults.

- Place2Be. Post qualified – a further 1 year structured Developmental training in counselling children & young people.

- BA degree with honours, University of Roehampton, London.

I am bound by the BACP requirements for continuing professional development (CPD) and their code for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am fully insured and have clinical supervision in place for all my work.
I have always met the mandatory annual BACP requirement of CPD, which includes being trained in clinical assessment and brief-focussed psychodynamic counselling. I have undertaken numerous in-depth trainings in various aspects of working with children, young people and adults.
