Jane Skinner MSc, CTA, UKCP

About me
Perhaps you've been coping alone and would like to talk to someone who is removed from your family and social life?
Maybe you're feeling confused or stuck in a pattern of repeated situations or just wish to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional world, with someone trained to support you?
I offer a warm, supportive and confidential space that will allow you to explore and gain understanding of the situation or condition that is causing you unhappiness.
When we start to get clarity about the difficulties we are having within ourselves, our relationships with other people or the outside world, change starts to happen. The counselling and psychotherapy relationship helps us take steps in getting control back in our life, making changes and moving forward.
My private practice is near Christchurch and the A35, in a quiet and private location with easy parking, close to Avon beach. My therapy room is on the ground floor within my home.
I also work in Winchester city centre.
I am an accredited member of the UKCP and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also a member of the following professional Transactional Analysis organisations: ITAA, IARTA, EATA and UKATA.
I hold an enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
