Jane Clemens Bsc. Adv Dip Couns.
Welcome to my Counselling Directory page.
I am a registered member of the BACP - British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
I provide a confidential and personal counselling service in a supportive environment which is safe for you to feel relaxed and comfortable to talk about yourself and your life. You may feel that life has become painful, confusing or unbearable for you.
You may be uncomfortable about talking to others, feeling emotional, anxious, angry or unhappy. However I will support you and listen to you without judgement, and your experiences in life will be accepted unconditionally.
I work as an integrative counsellor which means I draw from a range of counselling approaches which we can explore together. I work with people in a person centred way and will work out with you what is the right approach for your counselling sessions - some examples of Therapy I work with are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Creative Therapies & Existentialism.
To make an enquiry or appointment with me, you can email or telehone between the hours of 9am to 6pm. You can call, text or email me directly or I accept referrals from General Practitioners and other Healthcare Professionals.
The first appointment is a 30 minute session offered free of charge. This is a supportive session which enables me to listen to your thoughts and feelings about what brought you to counselling. I will introduce myself and we will discuss and agree the best way forward for you. The first 30 minute session can be arranged at short notice and can be completed by telephone or face to face.
GP’s & other Health Professionals: please contact me direct, pass on my contact details or advise patients to ‘drop in’ to the Oak Suite at the Beacon Medical Centre in Sidmouth for more details.
I offer face to face counselling between the hours of 8am to 6pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Sidmouth and Saturdays in central Exeter.
Telephone/Skype sessions are by arrangement.
With kind regards
