About me
Welcome to my profile. I am a BACP-registered therapist with experience of working alongside adults, and I aim to provide a warm, honest, open and empathic space free of judgment in which we can explore together whatever is troubling you.
We can be prompted to seek help from a therapist for many different reasons. You may be struggling with an issue that you can’t seem to resolve alone. Or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or somehow stuck in life. Or you may be feeling a general sense of unease in your own skin.
When something is interfering with our ability to live a meaningful and rewarding life, it can be a struggle to figure out a way forward. If this rings true for you, it might be helpful to explore how you are feeling with someone who is professionally trained. Together we can work to help you to achieve a greater sense of personal freedom.
Counselling with someone you can trust and feel comfortable with is an investment in yourself and your life. Whatever you may be struggling with, whether it's something you're experiencing now or something from your past, I will listen to you very carefully and respectfully as we work together.
I believe that it is within the strong and caring therapeutic relationship we build together that effective healing can take place. The way in which you live your life is unique to you. I will honour your uniqueness and provide a warm, open, honest and empathic space free of judgement where, together, we can explore whatever is troubling you.
To work with me, just send me an email or give me a call on 07943 615192, to arrange an initial consultation, during which we can discuss what it is that brings you to therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
