About me

For 20 years I have helped adults, children and couples, successfully address a range of problems including anxiety, panic attacks, relationship issues, eating disorders, depression, bereavement and addiction. As a result, many of the people I have worked with are more confident, more aware and lead more successful, happier lives. In some cases the change has been transformational.

How I Would Work with You
I work gently and provide a clear space allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings and aspirations at your own pace. Through this process you will find insights emerge enabling your recovery and allowing positive change to take place in you and in your life.

If your issue is work-related, I will also to help you in this area. I have extensive experience in the work place, having been a company director over 19 years, where I was responsible for the welfare and development for 50 employees. I also work as a coach. I have an in-depth understanding and empathy with any pressures or demands you will be facing in your working life.

I see people for varying lengths of time depending on each person’s requirements. During our initial consultation we can determine the frequency of the sessions that you may need.

I am very happy to talk on the telephone about my approach to psychotherapy before you commit to a session.

About Me
Although my background is design, working in the creative industry for over 30 years, it was during my 14-years as a Samaritan volunteer that I decided to train and work professionally as a psychotherapist. Now I integrate both worlds working as a psychotherapist while also operating as a coach and business consultant. I believe that design should contribute towards a harmonious environment and embody the principles inherent in nature.

Where I Work
I am located in Central London (Little Venice, W2) and fortunate that my place of work is calm, tranquil and just a minute from the beauty of the canal. Paddington, the West End, Maida Vale, Notting Hill Gate and St John’s Wood are within easy reach and I am well served by public transport: Paddington, Edgware Road and Warwick Avenue underground stations each only 7 minutes walk away. Parking availability is good.

I am available Monday to Saturday, daytime and evening.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the UKCP.

I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1990 with individuals (adults and children) and couples and I worked for three years as a group psychotherapist for MIND. I also work as a coach, drawing on my business experience.

My training was an integrative modality with a transpersonal element, incorporating a broad range of theories in psychology and psychotherapy. I am fully committed to my own personal development and continue to study theories of psychology and psychotherapy as well as spiritual disciplines.
