Jan Angrabeit MBACP BEd, PGDip, Dip. Counselling
I am a qualified Counsellor, Life Coach, and Mentor. My approach is completely non-judgemental and I use a Person-centred therapeutic model or combination of models that best suit the individual and the problems that he or she is facing. I find with this approach clients take a lead in discussions and decide what they want to bring to each counselling session.
I am passionate about the work I do as a Counsellor and recognise that searching for the right one can sometimes be a confusing process, and it can take courage to make that initial contact.
Finding someone who you feel comfortable with is really important, so I suggest that you choose a Counsellor who you feel drawn to, with the relevant qualification and experience.
I'm a very down-to-earth person and I offer you a safe and friendly space to come to talk through what is happening for you. I aim to make the process of counselling as rewarding as possible.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults, in both the public and private sectors, working with clients from diverse backgrounds, with a range of concerns - depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, addiction, self-harm, low self-esteem, loss of confidence, loneliness, career/life changes, exam pressure, and bullying.
With a background in education, training, and life coaching, I can draw on a wide range of modalities within my counselling practice, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis to meet the needs of my clients. I can offer both long-term and short-term counselling and coaching. Sessions can be face-to-face, Skype or Facetime, whichever you feel is comfortable for you.
I am a partner in FAIRWEATHER Counselling & Training, which is a Registered Provider for ABC Awards.
My counselling practice and training courses are based at Soul Solutions, in Faversham Kent, which provides a wide range of complementary therapies. There is free parking directly outside.
You can call me or email me if you have any questions or require further information about myself or my counselling practice.
