About me

1:1 counselling and psychotherapy with adults by telephone or online

I really appreciate the importance of finding the right person to work with and the sometimes daunting task of booking to meet someone. Hopefully a little about me will make this process easier for you.

I run a small private therapy practice alongside my work as a mental health professional. I have a passion for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing and believe in everyone's unique individuality, potential and worth.

Whether you wish to have a safe space to explore how you are feeling, make sense of an aspect of life that is causing you difficulty, or would like to work on a specific issue such as anxiety or other mental health concern, I will draw on my experience and professional practice to help you work towards the outcomes you want to achieve.

Psychotherapy training alongside many years working as a mental health professional in a number of settings means I’m uniquely placed to work with a wide variety of people and a wide range of concerns. I feel confident that counselling and therapy changes lives

I offer therapy by telephone / online and believe it is a really beneficial and effective way of working, which also offers you the flexibility to engage from the comfort of your own home.

Contact me with any questions via the 'message' button above and I will get back to you as soon as possible, typically in 1 working day

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I find working in this way really effective. It means I can approach our work together in in the most helpful way to you and your unique needs.

*Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (TA) which offers a great way to understand ourselves, our development and our relationships. Using transparent and accessible ideas it combines to form an approach that can help you understand yourself in the context of your life.
