About me
I am a relationship counsellor & psychosexual therapist for couples & individuals. I specialise in improving communication, restoring intimacy & desire, recovery from affairs, and sexual problems.
First sessions are free, so you can check you are comfortable working with me.
I can usually see you within 48 hrs. I am always happy to chat informally on the phone or by text or email.
I work face-to-face or via Zoom. My private practice is in Hampton, West London.
I also write about relationships. You can read some articles, listen to radio and podcasts, and see some prize-winning video animations on my website https://jamesearl.com. I am married with children, and am a jazz pianist.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Professional Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Relationship Therapy from Relate. I also have a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work from the University of Sussex. I am a registered member of COSRT, the professional body for relationship and sex therapists.
