About me

Please note: I am currently on maternity leave but will be starting to see clients from September. If you would like to register your interest in working with me, please fill in this form: https://forms.gle/jKwpgugTM5Ay6dCH7 (copy and paste link to new browser tab)

I support women who, somewhere along the way, feel they have lost themselves. Tired of saying ‘I’m fine’ when you’re not - externally capable, internally slowly crumbling? Maybe you’re high functioning but anxious and burnt-out. You’re navigating an identity shift, career change, being a mother, marriage, divorce, whatever it may be, you’re standing at a crossroads, because something deep down is telling you: this isn’t working.

I’ve been there and I want you to know: you’re not broken, there is hope.

If you feel trapped in anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, or people-pleasing, therapy can help you understand these as intelligent adaptations, not flaws, but survival strategies. We work together to gently peel back the layers, integrating the parts of yourself you may feel you lost whilst simply trying to get on with life.

I help women reclaim their emotional and relational freedom by reconnecting with their inner voice, seeing your emotions as a guide and your intuition as your truth.

You don’t have to carry it all alone. What would it be like to let someone hold some of it with you, to find the roots of that unsettled feeling and begin to break free from shame, trauma, and the weight of always being the one who holds it all together?

Work with me to find a way back home to yourself so that you can break cycles and move forward feeling lighter and more free to be yourself, empowered to make decisions that are right for you.

My approach
I’m an integrative psychotherapist drawing from:

Relational & developmental theory
Understanding early attachment and emotional survival strategies; how past dynamics show up in present relationships.

Psychoanalytic depth work
Exploring internalised shame, idealisation, the shadow, inner child healing, and parts work.

Self-compassion & mindfulness
Cultivating a gentler inner voice and learning to be more present and intentional.

A social lens
Anti-oppressive practice that honours difference, challenges capitalist systems and the patriarchy, and makes visible the impact of cultural conditioning on the psyche.

Trauma-informed care
Supporting nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and body-based integration.

Training, qualifications & experience

Training

  • MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy, Metanoia Institute (awarded by Middlesex University)
  • Level 7 Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy, Metanoia Institute
  • Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, Kingston College

My training was rigorous and relationally focused, grounded in integrative theory and practice. It combined psychoanalytic, humanistic, developmental, and trauma-informed approaches, with an emphasis on in-depth personal therapy and clinical work.

Work Experience

  • 4 years in low-cost community counselling services
  • 1 year in the NHS
  • 2 years in private practice

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, identity loss, burnout, and the impact of early or intergenerational trauma. I now specialise in supporting high-functioning, sensitive women navigating life transitions.

Personal Experience

Before I trained as a psychotherapist, I worked in the corporate world - outwardly over-functioning, inwardly struggling. Like many of the women I now support, I was navigating people-pleasing, anxiety, burnout, and the feeling that the life I was living wasn’t really mine.

Choosing to retrain as a therapist was a leap into the unknown. I spent seven years in intensive study, personal therapy, and self-development. During that time, I also became a wife and a mother to two children - a journey that deepened my understanding of identity shifts and relational transformation.

Through this path, I found the connection, purpose, and authenticity I had been searching for. Therapy changed my life, not through quick fixes, but through slow, deep, lasting change. I know the courage it takes to begin, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
