About me
Hi, my name is Jade and I am a qualified BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Supervisor and a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. As such, I am able to work using several different approaches based on the needs of the people that I see.
I work within the NHS specialising in an all aged Eating Disorders service, as well as working with broader mental health problems within my private practice. As part of my role within the NHS I supervise other clinicians and therapists as well as providing direct specialised therapy to our patients. I have over 11 years of experience working as a therapist within the NHS, charity and private sector.
I understand that people seek therapy for a number of different reasons, therefore I work flexibly and collaboratively within my practice. I tailor the therapy I offer to clients based on individual needs, using strategies and techniques that are aimed at supporting and helping my clients. I pride myself on being approachable, compassionate, non-judgemental and professional.
I provide evidence-based CBT for a range of mental health difficulties, including Depression, Low Mood, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Health Anxiety, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, low self esteem, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder and Specific Phobias. The aim is to support and help you to develop lasting skills and techniques to manage your difficulties and improve overall mental wellbeing.
I abide by the policies and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity to work as a therapist in the UK.
If you would like to explore what I can offer, please contact me to discuss any questions or challenges you may be experiencing, prior to us booking an appointment.
