Work with me online or in Launceston, Cornwall.
If you're reading this, you've recognised that you could do with some extra support. When anxiety, low mood, behavioural problems, emotional difficulties or unpleasant life events are getting in the way then it makes sense to seek out help and do something about it.
Whatever your reasons for turning to a professional, I can help you to clarify your goals and work towards these.
I work with adults; with children and young people; and with the parents of very young children, to help them understand and overcome emotional difficulties or anxieties they or their child may be experiencing.
We're all different, so no single therapy is going to work for everyone. By integrating different evidence-based techniques, I offer clients a unique experience tailored to them and what they want to achieve.
I don't diagnose, label or judge. I just provide the space and support you need to explore what you want to explore and change what you want to change.
Entering therapy can be a difficult decision, so I strive to make it as worthwhile as possible for all my clients. I draw on techniques including person centred counselling, gestalt, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and transpersonal modalities to help you achieve what you want from our sessions together.
Getting support can be a big deal, and you’ll want to know whether I am the right person to work with you or your child before you commit.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
