About me

My name is Jacqui and I have been a practising counsellor for the past 5 years.

I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I mainly work with anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression and suicidal thoughts, relationship issues, obsessive thinking and trauma. I also specialise in women's health problems, including fertility issues and miscarriage.

We all face difficult times in our lives, sometimes our emotions can feel overwhelming and it becomes hard to find a way through, leading to a feeling of being stuck. Confiding in someone who really listens and understands you can be the first step towards feeling more able to cope.

I know it can be hard taking the first step to try counselling, so please send me a message and I will contact you to arrange a free telephone conversation, where I can help you to make sense of your feelings, enabling you to cope better with difficult circumstances.

We can then arrange an initial 50 minute session to get to know each other and see if you think that working with me could be helpful, and if you wish to continue, I tend to suggest booking weekly sessions at the same time for around 6-12 weeks. You then have the option to decide if you would like to continue on a longer term basis.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Please email or text to arrange an initial phone conversation which is free of charge. I will reply within 24 hours to arrange a time, usually within the next few days. This will take around 20 minutes and does not commit you to anything.
