About me

The pandemic has changed our day-to-day lives and led to heightened levels of anxiety, depression and, possibly, bereavement/grief for many of us. Or, are you are affected by relationship issues, panic disorder, Post-traumatic stress (PTSD), mental or physical abuse, phobias, feelings of sadness, or family issues?

Face-to-face, online or telephone Psychotherapy and Counselling may have been suggested to you as an effective way to help you to deal with these plus a wide range of other issues.

As a fully qualified and experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor, I have gained a broad range of experience working with young people and adults. This includes being a qualified Relationship Counsellor with years of couples counselling experience.

I can help you by offering confidential talking therapy, away from external pressure, and at your pace. Therapy can either be at my private therapy rooms or by telephone/online allowing me to tailor counselling to your needs within the BACP's Ethical Framework.

As a qualified Online Counsellor, I can offer my full range of therapy services using the telephone and other online platforms such as Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc..

My practice covers Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Redditch, Henley-in-Arden, Bromsgrove, Solihull and South Birmingham. Counselling Rooms have disabled facilities and are easily accessible by car, bus, and train.

If you would like to talk to me about how I could help you, please contact me by email at info@jtwcounselling.co.uk. by telephone on 07826 572824 or, if you prefer, visit my website at https://www.jtwcounselling.co.uk.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
