About me
Update: Telephone and on-line services available only until further notice
We all struggle with day to day life sometimes. Being aware of overwhelming feelings and anxious thoughts that won't stop, no matter how much you try to ignore them and carry on.
We all need a little help from time to time, and it's OK to ask for help and to take the time to look after yourself.
Having a safe space to talk confidentially, one to one, with someone can help you. By focusing on your issues in a new light and allowing yourself the time to be aware of your thoughts and feelings causing your struggles.
It might be you need help with:
- Difficult Relationships
- Bereavement of a loved one
- General anxiety
- Depression
- Stress
- Feelings of anger
Having a tough time myself a number of years ago brought me to counselling. I am now an experienced person-centered counsellor helping everyday people for the past 5 years. New to the counselling services I provide is Animal Assisted Therapy with my dog, Dila. If you feel having Dila there would help with your counselling session she can be waiting in the room.
If you want to discuss your issues further please contact me by telephone or email and leave your details with your availability. I will get back to you to arrange your free initial 30 minute telephone appointment to discuss your needs.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
