BA Psychology ; MA; Forensic Psychology PG Cert Counselling

About me

I am a registered Counsellor and EMDR therapist. I hold registration with The National Counselling Society (NCS) and with the British Psychological Society (BPS). My clinical experience consists of working with both adolescents and adults in both the prison service and voluntary sector.

I have experience of offering both brief and longer term therapy, depending on clients needs

The core of my work consists of the therapeutic relationship that is built with my clients. I provide an empathic, safe, and reflective space for clients to share their personal experiences in order to gain self-awareness, improve their psychological wellbeing, and make better life choices.

My approach to therapy is integrative, pulling from psychodynamic, trauma focused approaches that best suits the clients' presenting needs.

I have worked with a range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, bereavement, depression, PTSD, domestic abuse, addiction, self-harm, sexual and emotional abuse, stress, sexual exploitation and traumatic experiences.
