About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This means therapy is tailored to you—we can explore both past experiences and current challenges while incorporating practical tools for meaningful change. I believe therapy should be flexible and person-centred, allowing you to explore your experiences in a way that feels safe and supportive. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space to help you gain insight and create positive change.
I specialise in trauma-informed care, working sensitively with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. My approach ensures that therapy feels safe and empowering, at a pace that respects your experiences. I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, and I offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy that respects your individual strengths and challenges.
Through therapy, you can explore your thoughts, experiences and emotions, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work together to find what best supports you and your personal growth.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed extensive training in psychotherapy and psychology and am currently in advanced training as part of a doctoral-level programme. My work draws from a range of therapeutic approaches and is informed by ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
My experience spans NHS, social care, and voluntary sector settings, where I have supported children, young people, and adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I’ve worked in specialist mental health services, supported people with complex trauma, and have spent several years working with neurodivergent clients.
I also have experience offering consultation and training to professionals and have a background in advocacy and support for families and individuals navigating mental health, education, and care systems. My approach is inclusive, collaborative, and client-led, with an emphasis on creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly understood.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Your initial session is an opportunity to discuss your concerns and get a feel for the therapeutic process. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve had support before, I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable and have a clear sense of how we can work together.
In our first session, we will explore:
- What’s brought you to therapy
- Your background
- Your hopes and goals for therapy
- How we will work together
This session is a chance to see if we are a good fit. There is no pressure to continue beyond this point.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the full rate.
