About me
Hi, my name is Jacqui and I'm a fully qualified Integrative Therapist. As a member of the BACP and NCPS I practice within their ethical frameworks, this allows me to work with clients helping them reach their full potential. It's understandable to feel nervous or scared regarding therapy, often the fear of the unknown and what to expect is much worse than the reality, so well done on taking the first step and reaching out. Im a genuine, down-to-earth person, I believe that life continually has its ups and downs and sometimes we all need a little help. I am compassionate and will listen without judgment.
I specialise in Anxiety Counselling allowing people to talk, share how they feel and explore where this anxiety has come from. Part of the work I do with clients is to reinforce their self-esteem, their self-belief and help their resilience.
Training, qualifications & experience
As well as working in private practice, I have been part of the Macmillan team for over 6 years. Throughout my training, I also spent a year in the local hospice working with families who have lost their loved ones. In my spare time I have volunteer with Cruse Bereavement, as well as working with the police helping vulnerable children and adults.
