About me

I am a compassionate, reflective practitioner with extensive clinical experience across a range of diverse settings.   Using an integrative approach, with the Person Centered model at it's core, I am able to support clients struggling with difficult personal or professional circumstances to make sense of their world and explore choice and change. I know from personal experience that entering into counselling is a positive step in an uncertain world.

The initial session is an opportunity for us to find out a little about each other and clarify your reasons for seeking counselling at this time.  An important aspect of therapeutic work is the establishment of a respectful, trusting relationship.

I can offer appointments in :

  • Barnard Castle (Teesdale)
  • Newton Aycliffe & Chester le Street (Co Durham)
  • Gosforth & Gateshead (Tyne & Wear)

where, in safe, discrete, non-judgemental, therapeutic environments, I offer this initial session at a reduced rate to enable us to discover if we could work together and how best I might support you.

For further reassurance in relation to your confidentiality I am governed by the Information Commissioners Office as a Registered Data Controller
