About me
If you or someone close to you is considering psychotherapy, I would like to encourage you to reach out. Counselling and Psychotherapy can offer the potential for life-long change yet one of the hardest choices can be finding the right therapist. I have an Integrative approach to Psychotherapy, this means I integrate an approach that is suitable to your individual needs and to your personal pace. I offer a space that is open, caring and without judgment.
I work with; Addiction/addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, trauma, compulsive behaviour, relationship difficulties/or lack of relationship, low self-esteem/confidence, childhood abuse, dissociation, obsessive thoughts and fantasies, suicidal thoughts, bereavement & loss, anger, gender identity concerns, self-harming/destructive thoughts and behaviour, and more.
I have two private practices that support adults and adolescents in TW9 (Richmond, Wimbledon, Twickenham) and TW15 (Ashford, Staines, Egham, Middlesex) etc. I also see clients at a placement service in Richmond, London.
I offer both short-term (solution focused: Typically from 6 or 12 sessions) and open-ended/long-term psychotherapy at 50 minutes per session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist (Regent’s University, London), with over 6 and a half years' experience throughout the field of counselling and psychotherapy. I have experience with, and have facilitated the healing of a range of issues; ranging from chronic mental-illness to relationship issues. I have a compassionate way of working and also draw from the teachings of Carl Jung as well as Inter-Family Systems Therapies.
I also have previous experience as a Professional Tennis Coach to all ages, as a mental coach to young people and as an academic tutor to university students. I have offered a wide range of supportive coaching and mental-coaching to adults and young people. This means I can offer a practical way of working whilst assuring my clients through personal difficulties with a caring, non-judgemental approach. With this experience, I am able to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally if this is something that may interest you. I also offer mindfulness approaches and techniques to help my clients with personal stresses and find balance throughout their life. I can integrate any of these experiences into my practice if this is something that may interest you.
I have personally felt the mental and physical benefits that psychotherapy has to offer. I hope to offer this process to others.
