Isobel Cheshire, Relationship Counsellor, MA, PGDip, BA (Hons), Reg MBACP
I can provide you with professional relationship counselling.
We turn to counselling for so many reasons. Often the central thread is the aim for positive change. I'm a Relate trained counsellor. I help people to find the change they are aiming for and specialise in connection and communication in all forms of relationships.
My approach offers options to discover your own way towards making the difference. I offer an integrative approach, combining solution focused techniques, a person centred approach, focusing-oriented psychotherapy, psychodynamic and systemic methods.
This means I work with experience and a sensitivity for you, the client. The work looks at what you want to bring to the sessions. You may want to look at what has come before or keep the focus on how things will change in the future.
I utilise a range of approaches for working with individual issues and relationship distress, all available face-to-face. This might include explorations of communication patterns, working through the complexities of family relationships or even unpacking thoughts around self-belief and esteem.
Our lives centre around the quality of our relationships and it's here that we, together, could make a difference.
[please note on occasion it may be in the interest of clients to make a referral, for the best possible care and support]
