Irene Wells MBACP Therapeutic Counsellor
I am a registered BACP Therapeutic Counsellor. I believe that the experience of having all aspects of ourselves heard and understood without judgment can lead to lasting psychological change, personal growth and an ability to feel less overwhelmed with our situation.
I create a safe space for my clients to openly express their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and come to new understandings about themselves.
The idea of coming for counselling and sharing your inner world and all its complexities with another person may bring up conflicting feelings for you such as apprehension, fear, vulnerability, hope and cynicism amongst others. I respect how challenging this can be and assure you that I will enter your world beside you with sensitivity, wisdom and compassion.
